Having made an indelible mark on the building industry in the Northern Territory for the last 10 years, Ruth and Joel decided it was time for a change to better accommodate their young family's needs. Seeking new opportunities and fresh inspiration, they made the exciting decision to uproot and relocate to the stunning coastal town of Airlie Beach.

With over two decade of experience, Ruth has an Architectural degree with a specialisation in Hot-Humid Climates. Our design team has in-depth knowledge and expertise in creating homes that seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor elements. Emphasising natural light, open spaces, and incorporating sustainable features, we ensure that your home is an exquisite extension of the tropical paradise in which it stands.

We are passionate about designing buildings with the ability to not rely on mechanical cooling year round. We achieve this using our one room deep design principle where possible, aligning windows to allow breezes to pass through, using louvres windows to capture more breeze than possible with awnings and sliding windows, and most importantly using correction orientation to minimise hot morning and afternoon sun. Our unique steel roof designs also mean we can achieve much larger eave over hangs than what is possible with timber.

Custom Design

All of our floor plans can easily be altered, flipped and rotated to suit each individual site and the needs and wants of the client. If these don’t suit, please get in touch with us about a custom design. We are also available to do a site visit so we can advise the best options to suit!
